Product Information

  • Yes. All items shown use real lab-grown or natural diamonds. We do not sell pieces that use simulants such as moissanite or cubic zirconia.

  • On certain jewellery, this is backed by IGI or GIA reports which specify diamond characteristics.

  • All jewellery also comes with an independent valuation done by Jewellery Valuations Australia. This valuation provides a third-party assessment of the jewellery's quality, materials and craftsmanship for added confidence and transparency. *Please note, Eluri Diamonds has no affiliation with Jewellery Valuations Australia.*

Origin:

  • Natural diamonds are formed deep within the earth over billions of years through extreme heat and pressure.
  • Lab-Grown Diamonds are created in high-tech labs using advanced technology such as HPHT or CVD. These processes, which takes a matter of weeks or months, accelerate what happens naturally below the Earth's crust.

Rarity:

  • Natural Diamonds are a finite resource and cannot be produced on demand.
  • They are extremly hard to access, often being buried kilometres underground which requires extensive mining to acquire.
  • Of these mined diamonds, only a small fraction are high enough quality to be used in jewellery.
  • Lab-Grown Diamonds can be produced on demand, making them easier to come by.

Price:

  • Lab-Grown Diamonds are priced based on their cost to produce whereas natural diamonds have different costs associated with acquiring them.
  • Natural diamond costs include, but are not limited to, the expensive mining process, low-yield and long supply chain combined with the factor of rarity.
  • Since the Lab-Grown Diamond supply chain is shorter, they can go straight from the lab to the jeweller, reducing costs dramatically.
  • All these factors lead to Lab-Grown Diamonds being dramatically less expensive than natural diamonds of the same size and clarity.

Yes, they do.

A lab-grown diamond of the same carat, clarity, colour and cut as a natural diamond is going to look identical.

This is due to both Lab-Grown Diamonds and Natural Diamonds having the exact same physcial composition. They are both 100% carbon, have the same crystal structure and chemical composition.

People tend to compare moissanites to lab-grown diamonds and while they may look similar at a glance, they are very different in composition, value and quality. The main points of difference are:

  • Moissanite stones use a relatively simple and low-cost process. They can be created quickly and consistently with minimal equipment and fewer quality control changes.
  • Moissanites also consistently yield high-quality stones with there being fewer rejects and flaws.
  • In contrast, Lab-Grown Diamonds are much more complex and expensive to create.
  • They require highly advanced technology like the HPHT or CVD systems with setup cost for lab-grown diamond facilities being extremly high.
  • Each diamond takes weeks or months to create, with many not meeting gem-quality standards.
  • Precise conditions must be maintained inside the lab such as temperature, pressure, gas-flow and purity, which is technically demanding.

At the end of the day, Lab-Grown Diamonds are real diamonds. They are chemically, physically, and optically identical to natural diamonds. They're made of pure carbon and have the same hardness, brilliance and structure.

Moissanites are a different gemstone. They are made of silicon carbide and while they may sparkle brightly and are beautiful in their own right, they are not a diamond and are considered a diamond simulant.

Custom Jewellery Services

Yes. Custom work is a core part of our service. Each piece is designed and created based on your vision, with a focus on precision, quality, and a tailored experience. We operate with a transparent pricing approach, without the traditional retail markups. Enquiries are handled through consultation to ensure every detail is aligned before production.

Custom pieces typically take 4 to 8 weeks from final design approval to completion, depending on the complexity of the design. A confirmed timeline will be provided once all details are finalised. Production timelines are structured and begin only after full approval of the design.

Once an order has been placed, changes are not guaranteed. If your order has not yet entered production, we may be able to accommodate minor adjustments at our discretion. Please contact us immediately, as no changes can be made once production has begun.

We recommend confirming all sizing details prior to placing your order, as all sizing is the client’s responsibility. Where possible, resizing may be offered for an additional fee; however, not all designs can be adjusted, including full eternity bands and select custom pieces.

Due to the bespoke nature of each piece, all custom and made-to-order items are final sale. Change-of-mind returns or exchanges are not accepted. This policy does not override your rights under Australian Consumer Law in the case of a verified fault.

Yes. A CAD rendering will be provided for your review prior to production, allowing you to visualise the final piece and request any refinements. Once the design has been approved, it is final and production will commence with no further changes.

Each piece is thoroughly inspected prior to delivery. In the unlikely event of an issue, you are required to notify us promptly upon receiving your item. All concerns are assessed on a case-by-case basis, in line with your rights under Australian Consumer Law.

Jewellery Sizing & Fit Guide

You can determine your ring size by using our printable ring size guide or by matching an existing ring to our sizing chart. For the most accurate result, we recommend following the guidelines below.

Sizing Tips:

  • Measure at the end of the day when your fingers are at their largest
  • Avoid measuring when your hands are cold, as finger size may shrink
  • Consider your knuckle size if it is significantly larger than the base of your finger

Please note that at-home sizing is an estimate. We recommend confirming your size carefully prior to ordering, as all sizing is the client’s responsibility.

If you would like assistance on ring sizing, please reach out to us by sending an email to hello@eluridiamonds.com.au

Bracelet sizing can be measured using our printable guide to determine your wrist size at home. We recommend allowing an additional 1–2cm depending on your desired fit.

As sizing is the client’s responsibility, we encourage confirming your measurements carefully prior to ordering. Our team is available to assist with sizing guidance upon request.

Resizing is available on select designs, depending on the structure of the piece. We recommend confirming your ring size prior to placing your order, as not all rings can be resized once completed. Where applicable, resizing may be offered at an additional cost.

Resizing typically requires 5 to 10 business days from the date your piece is received. Timeframes may vary depending on the design and complexity. You will be kept informed throughout the process.
